How to automate Google reviews in three steps
If you want to know how to automate Google reviews without losing control, start with one short routine: connect the correct listing, ask every customer in the same way, and approve replies when they arrive.
Step 1 — connect your listing
Type the business name and choose the correct address. Revuu uses that listing to create the direct review link. Connecting your Google account is optional for sending requests, but it is required if you want Revuu to show new reviews and post approved replies.
The connection asks for access to location information, reviews, and review replies. It does not let Revuu publish customer reviews or change unrelated profile details. The privacy policy explains the access and deletion process in plain English.
Step 2 — ask a customer
After a visit, type the customer's name and email. One button queues the request for three hours later. That delay avoids asking while the customer is still standing at the counter. If they do not respond, Revuu sends one reminder after three days and then stops.
Counter-service businesses can use the free Google review link generator instructions to understand direct links and QR codes. Revuu's product setup creates the final link from the selected listing.
Step 3 — reply in one tap
When a review arrives, Revuu drafts a short answer using the customer's wording and rating. You can edit it or post it. Four- and five-star replies can be automated on Pro after a delay. One-, two-, and three-star reviews always wait for approval.
The guide to automating Google review responses explains why a difficult review needs judgment, even when AI writes a useful first draft.
What your customer receives
The email has the business name, a short request, and one large button. The button opens the Google review box for the correct listing. There is no private survey and no rating screen in the middle. Every customer follows the same path.
This is the key difference between ethical Google review automation and review gating. Automation saves repetition. It must not decide which customers are allowed to leave a public review.
What happens if they don't reply
Revuu waits three days and sends one reminder. It does not keep chasing the customer. The history shows whether a request was queued, sent, opened, clicked, reminded, or followed by a new review. These statuses help you see whether the process is being used, without turning a small task into a reporting project.
The full plan capabilities and unlimited request policy are listed on the Google review software pricing page.
